My to-bake list

Having come across a handful of baking blog owners shameless yet proudly exhibiting their to-bake list. I thought it's time for me to follow suit and proclaim to the world the things I wish to bake in the months to come as soon as I find the time to do so!

Here goes:


Sweets:

Fraisier Cake
Entremet with Joconde Imprint
Strawberry entremet
Whipped Cream Cake with a soufflé base
Mille Crêpes
Mille Feuilles
Vanilla Tart
Triple Chocolate Mousse slices
Macaron Cake 
Mango Cheesecake
Strawberry Charlotte
Mont Blanc
Plaisir Sucré
Éclairs (I've made this before but forgot to take pictures!)
Fruit Tarts
Strawberry and Pistachio tart

Macarons:

Rosemary and Milk Chocolate Ganache
Lemon Buttercream
Chocolate and Chilli Ganache
Jasmine and Rose Ganache (hopefully not tasting soapy!)
Coffee with Nutmeg and Cinnamon

Savouries:

Sourdough artisan bread
Baguettes (perfectly shaped with airy crumb)
Sourdough Baguettes!
Savoury Danish (Cheese and Ham)

  1. This is such a lovely, lovely list! I'm especially looking forward to seeing the triple mousse slices and fraisier!

    I wonder if you've considered making a gateux opera? It's my personal favourite french patisserie, but quite the challenge!

    1. I saw the tripe mousse slices on Youtube last time and it seemed easy enough to make, just requires a lot of freezing in between making the layers. You should give it a go too!

  3. Did you go to an audition for the bake off?
    I've got an audition on Tuesday and am struggling to think of what to bake... Too many to choose from (!)

    1. Thanks! How exciting! Yes I did go for the audition in December. I totally understand what you mean by that. I remember vividly how I mumbled to myself and my friends for a good few hours about the list of things that I could bake for the audition after receiving the phone call from the production team.

      You really should aim to go all out to impress them. After all you only get one chance to do this. :) Good luck!
